Abba Poodles is a hobby breeder, working on producing some of the finest toy poodles available in Missouri out of poodle pedigrees including Excell (Texas), Elusive Toys (Idaho), and Blaser (Idaho). Please bookmark our site or put it in your favorites so you can return and visit again. Just recently, Maria Abba's Rose of Sharon) and Naphtali (Abba's Via Christi) recently earned their IABCA championships.

We have five puppies available at this time. Maria and Gibby have one cinnamon cream female puppy and one black male puppy. They are fat and full of fun. Magic has one apricot girl, one black girl, and one tiny apricot boy. All will have the beautiful long face, long legs and square bodies that you see in show dogs. Our first puppies will be ready to purchase the beginning of May. If you would like to reserve a puppy or start making payments so it will be paid for when it is ready to go, please let us know. Just a little bit about how we name our dogs. We love the Lord and all of our dogs are named after something special.
  • We started with Ruby, "Anakim's My Turn On Earth". She was a big girl and we knew she would go over 10" so we named her "Anakim", which is the name of a giant race in the BIBLE.
  • Her daughter, Catherine, was named after the glory of the Lord, with the name of Abba's Iridescent Tiara.
  • We named Ruby’s grandson (son of Catherine), Taz, after the Year of Jubilee, which was a time when all Hebrew lands reverted back to their owners, which happened every 50 years. We had had a bankruptcy and lost all our dogs. When we were able to get one of Ruby's puppies back, it seemed fitting to name one of her puppies after that special occasion.
  • Ruby’s daughter, Annie, was named after the story in the BIBLE of the pool of Bethesda. There people would gather once a year to await an angel who would "trouble" the water in the pool. The first one into the water would be healed. It is such a marvelous miracle. It reminds me of a healing of the soul that is brought about by the love of Jesus.
  • Annie’s puppy, Maria, was named after the Savior by using one of his many names, "Rose of Sharon".
  • April was named Abba's Sego Lilly, named after the sego lilies that were used for food keep the pioneers of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints alive on their trip to the great Salt Lake.
  • Of Maria's puppies, one black boy is named Abba's Via Christi, which is Latin for "the way of Christ".
  • The apricot puppy is named Abba's Egyptian Tide, reminiscent of the story about all the waters of Egypt that were turned to blood when Moses was trying to get the Pharaoh to let God's people leave Egypt.
  • Cathy is the only puppy we saved back out of the last breeding. She is like a bright and shining star, so we named her Abba's Star of Bethlehem.
  • Peaches is from Elusive Toys kennel, by way of Blaser Poodles. She was named after the kennel out of appreciation for Catherine of Elusive Toys - Abba's Golden Elusive Toys.
