Abba Poodles Disclaimer

If you are looking for a pet, you have probably done a lot of research. You have found that pets need lots of care
and it takes money to take them to the vet when they need it. That is the case with all animals. That is one reason
we don’t give dogs away. If a person wants a pet but can’t afford to take it to the vet when they need it, the pet
will suffer needlessly. In our research, we have found that there is no such thing as a “perfect” pet. All animals
have some form of health issues at some time in their life, regardless of how carefully breeders choose their
breeding stock. Even if a dog is tested for all known health ailments for their breed, and is found not to have any
of them, it doesn’t stop them from being “carriers”. That means that the dogs themselves may not seem to have
any of those health problems, but they can still have them in their genes and pass something on to their puppies.
It is impossible to avoid this. If you contact a breeder, and they say they never have health issue, you might wish
to think long and hard before buying from them. To avoid health issues altogether, either all breeders should cease
breeding, or buyers will need to understand that animals aren't perfect either.

Like getting a new spouse, (“in sickness and in health”) you need to decide if you will take care of
your puppy regardless of what it may develop in its life time. If you decide you will take care of your puppy as
best you can, we would like you to own one of our puppies. We want our puppies to be loved and cared for,
perfect or not. We will still do our hardest to provide the very best we can with careful breeding practices.
If we at Abba Poodles know that a puppy has a defect, we will price it accordingly and give that information to
the buyer. If you have any questions regarding this, please read some of the articles on this website: http://www.dogstuff.info/basic_genetic_concepts_armstrong.html

One thing that can be a valuable tool is health insurance for you pet. Find out what kind of insurance your vet
will accept and then purchase that. If anything major happens to your pet, that insurance will be invaluable.

Sometimes thing happen and a person just can't keep their pet. If that should happen to you and it is an
